How the Workflow Looks
Step 1 - Start from your Product Photo
Even if your supplier product photos are small, inconsistent or on a boring white background, you can upload them directly to RogerApp.ai. The better the starting photo, the better the result – but you don’t need studio lighting to begin.
RogerApp.ai Photoeditor Guide
This is what RogerApp.ai Photo Editor Looks like. On the right top corner you have two tabs: Mask & Edit + Create New Version.
On the Mask & Edit you have the big box for your main photo, and two smaller one for Reference Photos. Using reference photos is not necessary, and it’s often easier to get the desired result by merging with only one reference photo at the time and making multiple edits rather than merging three images together at one go – especially in the beginning.
“Object to find” is our Automasking feature. can be most of the times left empty as the tool can mask automatically when needed, but at times for very specific edits using Automasking is incredibly useful such as changing hair color when user wants to keep the hair exactly the same otherwise.
Next to that you have “Manual” button for Manual Masking which is better explained under the photo.
“Reguested Change” is where you write your prompt. You will find a simple prompt guide from below the Editor Guide.
Manual Masking is an incredibly useful functionality for very specific edits. You can choose the brush size and simply paint the area you want to edit. Manual Masking is most useful when finishing photo details, and for changing Automask. Automasking is at times added automatically based on your Text Prompt for best possible results – however, at times the automask can end up being the wrong size, and your changes do not fit into the masked area. In that case, go back to the editor and simply manually mask the area where you want to fit the changes.
Masking is often not necessary but in order to create very specific, Professional Quality photos, it’s a crucial functionality that gives the user even more control.
In the example photo, by using manual masking, the stripes from the sides of the shoes are removed.

When to add “what the photo cannot include”
Add a short “what NOT to include” part at the end of the same prompt when you:

Use ChatGPT to help you write background prompts

Step 4 – Merge the Upscaled Product onto the Background
